Hi, I'm Ali, a computer scientist by profession. Since last summer, I've been working with the Ontario Cancer Institute where I've been developing visualization software tools that helps biologists with their cancer research. But I wanted to do more in the fight against cancer, and that's why I signed up for The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Princess Margaret Hosptial. It's a 200 km cycling journey from Toronto to Niagara Falls taking place this June and I've pledged to raise a minimum of $2,500. Both the fund raising and the 200 km are huge challenges for me and I can use all your support, financial or otherwise. In the end, this is about fighting for a cause that is bigger than ourselves. Its about overcoming one of the greatest challenges of our time. But most importantly, its about handing over our world to the next generation, better than it was handed to us. Together, we can make this dream a reality.
